JUNIORS: TRIAL & SEASON INFORMATION

Registrations to trial for the 2025 Winter Season have officially closed. However, limited opportunities are available in ALL age groups. If interested, please contact the JUNIOR COORDINATOR  ASAP to discuss.

NJNC field competitive teams from Sub Primary (9&U) to Juniors (15&U) in the AMND Competition. Games are played at Mile End on Saturdays from May to September, with training on Tuesday evenings (starting 1 April). We have teams across all divisions, including Division 1 and 2 teams.

We are focused on Junior development and believe in providing opportunities for all Juniors. We are excited about our future, with players participating in National and State-Level pathways, including the Adelaide Thunderbirds Academy. ​​​2025 WINTER AGE GROUPS & TRIAL DATES

Age Groups and Trial Dates for Winter 2025 are:​​

Sub Primary (2016-2018*)

TUESDAY 4 March - 6 to 7 pm @ Jags Courts, Paradise

UPDATE 14/02 - we are accepting player registrations in this age group. Players who register will be placed in a team for Winter. Please register HERE.

Primary (2014-2015) and Sub Juniors (2012-2013)

SUNDAY 23 Feb and 2 March - 3 to 5 pm @ The ARC Campbelltown

Juniors (2010-2011)

SUNDAY 9 and 16 Feb - 3 to 5 pm @ The ARC Campbelltown

2025 REGISTRATIONS

​​2025 CLUB FEES - JUNIORS:

·       Sub Primary $320

·       Primary, Sub Juniors, and Juniors $360

​​

Fees INCLUDE the End-of-Season Presentation but do not include Uniform or Netball SA Stadium Entry Costs.

In addition, the annual Netball SA Membership (Insurance) - $111.50  and Netball Australia Digital Services - $4.49 are payable when registering to the competition (not at trial registration). All fees must be paid via PlayHq.

TRIAL REGISTRATION:

PRIMARY to JUNIORS - Registration and placement is a Two-Step Process. ALL players must pay a $50 trial registration fee, which forms part of the club fees and is refundable if a player is not selected in a squad.​​​​

​

SUB PRIMARY - CURRENT summer players are guaranteed a place for Winter 2025 and will register directly for the competition. The link will be emailed to these players. NEW Sub Primary players interested in playing for NJNC MUST complete an Expression of Interest (Waitlist) by Saturday 8 February.​

​UNIFORMS

Club fees do not include the cost of uniforms.

​

ALL players are required to have a game day uniform - dress or top & shorts, white socks, blue jags or black undershorts

​

In Summer 25/26, there will be changes to the uniform. Please see this UNIFORM UPDATE for further information.

TRAINING

TRAINING IS COMPULSORY IN WINTER. 

​ALL Juniors train on TUESDAY NIGHTS at our courts behind Campbelltown Oval, Paradise.​

​​​

2025 training times are: 

• SUB PRIMARY - 5:30 to 6:30 pm

• PRIMARY - 5:30 to 7 pm

• SUB JUNIORS - 5:30 to 7 pm* 

• SUB JUNIOR 1 & 2  & JUNIORS - 7 to 8:30 pm

*Junior 1 & 2 and Sub Junior 1 players have additional sessions over winter as part of the NJNC Pathways Programs.

JUNIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

​In 2025, Newton Jaguars is pleased to be able to offer 5 scholarships to Winter Junior Players.

​​

The scholarships recognised, Excellence, Commitment, and Involvement to their Netball and the Newton Jaguars Netball Club.

​​

To be eligible for the scholarships; players must be fully registered and committed to playing for Newton Jaguars in the Winter Season. Scholarship recipients will be announced before the start of the Winter Season. Scholarships are valued based on the recipient's Winter Season Fees.

​​

The scholarships are reviewed annually and will only be offered if funds are available.
